Everything an authentic noodle bar should be. Great staff, great atmosphere and even better food. Huge thanks to the front end staff who made us feel very welcome. Massive thanks to the almost unseen chefs. We'll definitely be back.

This is the best noodle place in Cambridge. The tonkotsu ramen is out of this world. I've been eating tonkotsu soup in many cities in UK including Edinburgh, Leeds, York, London and this one is more delicious than them all (the second best in Cambridge is Kineya). The beef rib soup (Galbi Tang) is very delicious, the meat is so tender and the soup is sooo tasty. We also had 2 starters: octopus ball and veggie dumplings. Both of them are delicious. Btw we came here today for father's day.
The place is very small, probably only 20-25 people, in 2 separate rooms. And people are queuing patiently waiting for their turn. We came at 12:30 and there were 6 people in front of us. We waited for 15 minutes before we got seat. When we sat there were 10 people behind us. The waiter promptly took our orders, and the food came in about 15 mins. Those 10 people queuing behind us were already sitting when our food came out. But behind then there were like 15 people queuing. They were queuing on the stairs, reaching outside too. That is the only reason for 3 star for service. And atmosphere, i.e. because the place is very small so it feels a little crowded/cramped. But the lady owner was friendly to the customers. She recognised the people sitting next to us and was chatting to them. The other waiter is very efficient too, in taking orders and delivering food to tables
But the food is amazingly delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you for very tasty food. There were two chefs in the kitchen, both looking Japanese (probably brothers as they look similar), age about 45-50. Both working tirelessly and diligently. Bless them. Thank you sirs, your food is sooo delicious.- Meal type

Having recently lived in Japan for several months, I was very impressed with Ittou Noodle Bar. My Korean wings and ramen were very authentic and flavorful. Both had a nice spice to them but were full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating, and the restaurant was very cozy, making it no secret why there was a crowd waiting to be seated when I was finished eating.

Delicious and tasty ramen, gyoza were great too. This place is kind of hidden, we walked past and didn’t notice it. It’s usually busy and to be fair I get why, it’s affordable and good. definitely worth trying!

Love to go here for lunch. Their speciality Tonkotsu Ramen is delicious. Would not go with a big group, but with 1-4 works great. Staff is always friendly. I have visited several times and will go again.

A wonderful, well hidden, little Japanese restaurant, very affordable and offering delicious homemade ramens and gyozas. Calm, relaxing atmosphere, just a few yards from the hustle and bustle of the touristy Cambridge City Centre, in a cosy cellar. Quick and friendly service. Strongly recommended

They were knowledgeable about the menu which is reassuring when you have a very serious egg and nut allergy. Delicious, no-frills noodle spot
This place is a real gem if you're after hearty, flavourful food at very reasonable prices.
The portions are generous, the noodles are genuinely tasty, and overall it offers great value for money.
There can be a short queue during peak hours, but it moves fairly quickly and is well worth the wait.
The interior is quite simple and unassuming — so if you're after aesthetics, this might not be the place. But if you're here for proper, satisfying food, you won't be disappointed.- Meal type

“Hidden” restaurant with great food. Ramen was tasty, starters were great too. Okonomiyaki was in skewer form, a first! Since I only had flat circular okonomiyaki before. Nevertheless, really enjoyed the food. Atmosphere was just okay, a bit cramped, small space and had to share table with 2 more people.

I come here very often, it’s always my first pick of a restaurant when i’m going out for food. The staff are lovely, the vibes are very cool, and the food is comforting. If you want somewhere that’s not going to disappoint and off the beaten track, come and eat here.
Taste 8.5/10 Gyokotsu ramen 8/10, Plum Sake 9/10; Portion with price 7/10 Plum sake is a little pricey; or Service 6.5/10 there are a lot of people but not much of waiting space; Cleanness 8/10; vibe 6/10 the restaurant atmosphere is okay but not so spacious, so I sit in the same table with other people
